It was another gloomy old day in Hong Kong as Mo and I decided to hit the trams – and travel from one end of the island to the other (almost). We started in Wanchai then to Western Market (classic Edwardian architecture), then North Point and back to Wanchai. Those in the know will realise that this was truly a bone rattling epic. This shot (and perhaps similar ones to follow) was taken in North Point street market – dangling over some long-suffering fish.
We’re in Hong Kong for the Rugby 7’s – the first time in 3o years for me…. It started with (for me) a traditional downpour, but then thankfully started to dry out. Much to the relief, no doubt, of the players who were fumbling and sliding all over the place. Still, better than 1976 when the fire brigade had to be called to pump the rainwater off the pitch before the final!
