We went strolling in the Kent countryside today – in and around Ightham Mote. This is the best preserved moated manor house in England.

I recently worked as site agent on the closure and clearance of plastics extrusion factory – not normally my bread-and-butter consultancy (or photography) work, but interesting nonetheless. Sad times.

Stuart, Caroline and I headed for a fish lunch on Cheung Chau praya on Monday and we stumbled upon this outside the Pak toi temple – a Cantonese opera. These are usually cacophonic and this was true to the genre, so we only managed a few minutes before our ear drums were ruptured and bleeding…..
